《易经》也称《周易》或《易》，是中国传统思想文化中自然哲学与伦理实践的根源，是中国最古老的占卜术原著，对中国文化产生了巨大的影响。据说是由伏羲氏与周文王(姬昌)根据《河图》、《洛书》演绎并加以总结概括而来(同时产生了易经八卦图)，是华夏五千年智慧与文化的结晶，被誉为“群经之首，大道之源”。在古代是帝王之学，政治家、军事家、商家的必修之术。从本质上来讲，《易经》是一本关于“卜筮”之书。“卜筮”就是对未来事态的发展进行预测，而《易经》便是总结这些预测的规律理论的书。 K *{RGE
